Work With Us

Hey, I'm Jeff,

Dr. Jeff Jennings, Ph.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist

As a child, I witnessed more examples of unhealthy relationships growing up than healthy ones. Those experiences left a lasting impact, and led me to a career in clinical psychology, writing, and relationship coaching where I can help others avoid a similar fate.

With a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and over 24 years of training and experience, I am an expert on interpersonal forgiveness, positive psychology, and the neurobiology of relationships.

My insights and research have been published in dozens of highly regarded psychology journals and books including Psychology TodayThe Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy, the Encyclopedia of Primary Prevention and Health Promotion, and the American Psychological Association Handbook of Psychology, Religion, and Spirituality. I have also worked and trained with leading marriage therapy experts like Everett Worthington, Jr., the originator of the Hope-Focused Marriage Therapy approach.

These days, I find fulfillment in using cutting-edge neuroscience, attachment research, and positive psychology to help aspiring couples achieve fast, but lasting, mastery toward deeper connection, greater intimacy, and enduring love.

Hi, I'm Jessica,

Jessica L. Jennings, M.A., Licensed Professional Counselor

I grew up in a stable home, surrounded by many examples of lasting connection, and saw from a young age how relationships can be a place where the greatest hurt and the greatest healing can happen. Now, I teach others how to fully embrace this sacred struggle and reap the rewards that come with building the Greatest Marriage Ever.

Over the last 20+ years I have obtained my masters degree in professional counseling as well as certification as an alcohol and drug counselor, and have gained extensive clinical experience helping hundreds of couples and individuals resolve their emotional pain and increase deep connection in relationships.

I’ve been highlighted as a licensed therapist on A&E Network’s “Intervention” and my insights have been featured on podcasts, and multiple local and international media outlets.

I love helping disconnected couples tap into shared vulnerability to achieve deeper connection and greater intimacy through the integration of the latest neuroscience, relationship research and positive psychology research. I love to integrate these ideas into my speaking, writing, and coaching.

Helping couples move from fear to love

We have over 40 years of combined education and experience that all points to this universal truth: you were made for deep connection.

However, over those years of experience, we’ve also seen the many ways in which people sabotage their own efforts to connect: From our bodies’ built-in defense mechanisms, to physiological processes that have been put in overdrive by today’s fast-paced society, to the simple reality that life gets busy and most of us live in a state of perpetual distraction. Add to that the fact that many of us have been hurt in our closest relationships, and it’s no wonder we start to close off.

And it’s true: creating a great relationship is hard. But living in isolation within your marriage is hard, and getting a divorce is even harder. So it’s hard either way, which means you get to choose which kind of “hard” you want

People don’t split up because of “hard,” they split up because they lose hope.

We’re here to teach couples how to navigate the worthy, sacred struggle of choosing connection. We’re here to help them open up, face their fears, and rekindle a sense of hope for the future. We’re here to help couples move from fear to love while creating their Greatest Marriage Ever.

“It was perfect! From the beginning the challenge didn't feel like it would be complicated and nothing during the course felt like we had to add 25 things to our day in order to find a deeper relationship. It’s silly to think 10 minutes a day of purposeful conversation could have such an impact, but it did.”
